Seong-Eun Kim, Ph.D.
Dr. Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Artificial Intelligence at Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech), Seoul in South Korea. He is the director of the Brain and Artificial Intelligence lab.
Before joining the faculty at SeoulTech in 2021, Dr. Kim was a Postdoctoral Associate at Massacusets Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2014 to 2017, then as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Hanbat National University. Dr. Kim received Ph.D and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technolgoy (POSTECH).
Yeonsu received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electronic Engineering at Hanbat National University. She joined the BraAIn lab as Ph.D. student in Spring 2022. She is interested in brain mechanisms under general anesthesia by analyzing EEG signals.
Ayu received M.S. degree in Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) at Sungkyunkwan University. She joined the BraAIn lab as Ph.D. student in spring 2022. She is interested in deep learning and EEG analysis.
ChangGyun received B.S degrees in Computer Science at ShamYook University. He joined the BraAIn lab as M.S student in Spring 2022. He is interested in brain signals and Deep learning.
EunSeo is an undergraduate student at SeoulTech majoring in Mechanical System Design Engineering. She joined BrAIn lab as an undergraduate research assistant. She wants to know deep learning technology to diagnose diseases through cardiac and pulmonary sound research because she hopes humans can live a healthy life away from diseases.
Yeji is an undergraduate student at SeoulTech majoring in Altificial Intelligence. She joined BrAIn lab as an undergraduate research participant. I'm going to conduct a study to analyze how brain waves change when anesthetic drugs are administered. By conducting this study, I would like to gain knowledge of brain waves and learn how to analyze brain waves.
AI Undergraduate Research Assistant (AURA)
Ji-hoon is an undergraduate student at SeoulTech majoring in Applied Artificial Intelligence.
He joined BrAIn lab as an undergraduate research assistant. He wants to know how to mathematically solve EEG signals according to human movements or emotions. In addition, he hopes to contribute to the development of Metaverse technology by studying techniques to control virtual digital avatars with EEG signals.
Hyerim is an undergraduate student at SeoulTech majoring in Electronic and IT Media Engineering. She joined BrAIn lab as an undergraduate research assistant. She has a great interest in medical artificial intelligence which includes processing various medical data such as EEG data for analysis and detecting or diagnosing diseases through deep learning technology.
Dayena is an undergraduate student at SeoulTech majoring in Applied Artificial Intelligence. She joined BrAIn lab as an undergraduate research participant. She wants to study the relationship between brain learning, memory processes, and brain waves. Dayena also aims to perform an analysis to increase learners' learning efficiency through the analysis of brain waves.
Chanwoo received B.S degrees in Industrial Engineering at DanKook University. He joined the BraAIn lab as M.S student in Fall 2022. He is interested in brain signals and Deep learning.
